Nanoom Korea and the Interscholastic Ethics Society (IES) have established a meaningful partnership focused on promoting ethical values and social responsibility within the community. Together, they collaborate on various volunteer initiatives aimed at helping underserved and marginalized groups, fostering a deeper sense of solidarity and ethical awareness among youth.
Through this partnership, IES members engage in a range of activities designed to support the mission of Nanoom Korea, particularly in areas such as educational outreach and community development. The IES, which is dedicated to ethical discourse and societal betterment, contributes to Nanoom Korea’s ongoing projects by providing both volunteer support and fresh perspectives on how to improve the inclusivity and sustainability of their programs.
This partnership reflects the shared values of both organizations: the promotion of ethical conduct, the empowerment of communities, and the nurturing of a responsible, respectful future generation. IES members also gain firsthand experience in applying their ethical principles to real-world situations, furthering their commitment to building a more just and compassionate society.
Together, Nanoom Korea and IES strive to create lasting positive change and inspire others to take action towards a more equitable world.

The IES made a visit to Nanoom Korea in order to visit a grandmother who is living with her son. Joseph Kang, Bill Cho, and Ian Kim were very thrilled to meet her, as she was very bright and positive, with a great sense of humor. We decided to call her Korean name in English "Chung", her family name. She and her son taught us how to play traditional Korean games. After playing a few rounds and having a very fun time, we got ready to leave for the day. Grandmother Chung's bright smile every time she beat us in that game put a smile on our faces too. We were thrilled to visit her more often.
