The Jiguchon Children's Center houses multicultural families in Korea. Often times, these families have a hard time integrating into Korean society due to the fact that some policies in Korea do not benefit or protect these individuals from harms way. Select students will have the opportunity to volunteer at this center, build meaningful relationships with children, and teach them about what we know about Korean policy and ethical values that shape them. Children will also have a chance to debate about the topics they learned with their friends or volunteering students. Our ultimate goal with this service is to provide a platform for families to voice out their opinions and stances on issues in Korea.
