Joseph is passionate about using his voice and skills to make a positive impact in his community. As a competitive debater, he has honed his ability to analyze complex issues, particularly in the realms of ethics and public policy that affect the world we live in today. His main purpose of co-founding the IES was to bring awareness into ethical issues that exist in the world. He created official partnerships between IES and many non profit organizations to assist in solving them by fundraising, and participating in weekly volunteering visits in various areas.
He is currently attending Seoul International School as the class of 2027 in South Korea. He is serving as one of the first executives of his school's public policy club. He also has been heavily involved in debate inside of school and outside of school for over 5 years. Prior to becoming a member of the Korean national debate team (KWSDC)'s top 8 training pool, he won numerous awards in both domestic and international competitions. He is also a passionate cellist, being highly enthusiastic about the realms of classical music and sharing the gift of music's beauty to the elderly living in nursing homes.
