Welcome to the Interscholastic Ethics Society (IES National)
국제학교 연합 윤리 사회
We’re excited to welcome you to Korea’s only student-founded and student-led ethics organization with chapter clubs established across multiple schools. At IES, we believe that ethics isn't just an academic subject, it's a collective determination to lead with integrity, think critically about the world around us, and act with willingness, passion, and purpose.
We are an organization founded by students, for students. IES is a space where creative ideas lead to decisive and thoughtful action through collaborative forums, community service initiatives, and interscholastic projects. At the end of the day, we strive to become the next generation of responsible leaders and ethical thinkers.
You could be here to engage in meaningful discourse, serve your community, or experience personal development alongside peers who are also passionate about doing what is best for society. Whatever you're here for, you're in the right place. We’re excited to have you join us in shaping a more thoughtful and inclusive future together. We may be secondary school students who aren't lawmakers or CEOs who have power to create direct change in society. However, the greatest power that we have is the ability to shape conversations and actions of our generation. Awareness sparks discussion, discussion sparks interst, and interest sparks action.
Welcome to IES, where ethics come to life.

Interscholastic Ethics Society
(IES National)
1. Ethics isn't just a subject, it's a responsibility for every student, in every field.
2. From STEM to the humanities, ethics shapes the impact of every discipline.
3. At IES, we believe discussion sparks interest, interest sparks awareness, and awareness sparks action.
4. We don’t just study ethics — we live it through community service, leadership, and action.
5. Ethics isn’t just for students in the humanities — it’s essential for scientists, engineers, and everyone in between.
6. Through expert forums and peer-led debates, we build the critical thinking to tackle real-world dilemmas.
7. We write, speak, question, and act — because learning ethics means applying it.
8. Our service projects reflect our values — because ethical thought must translate into ethical change.
9. We bring students together across schools and subjects to explore what’s right, what’s just, and what’s possible.
10. IES exists to prove that ethics belongs everywhere — not in textbooks, but in everyday choices.
